Located in the heart of Toronto’s Dundas West neighbourhood, TKVO is the little queer gift shop that could; an inclusive and safe space, always.

TKVO is a medical acronym for “to keep vein open." We're a retail shop, a lifestyle, and a state of mind.

TKVO is Queer and Trans owned and operated, and our team is committed to respecting pronouns, engaging in conversation, supporting our LGBTQ+ communities, and highlighting queer makers.

At TKVO we are body positive, sex positive feminists, carving out a little space in this big city for more queerdom. You are always welcome.

TKVO is a *safe space...always.

TKVO is a medical acronym—to keep vein open.

It is ordered by physicians when a patient's vein has been accessed intravenously and is to be left open between therapies.

*safe space: "a place where anyone can relax and be able to fully express,
without fear of being made to feel uncomfortable, unwelcome, or unsafe
on account of biological sex, race/ethnicity, sexual orientation,
gender identity or expression, cultural background, religious affiliation,
age, or physical or mental ability."
